It was his enthusiasm for electrical engineering that led master electrician, radio and television technician Adolf Witte to found Elektro- und Hochfrequenz GmbH in 1945. Until the 1960s, the company specialised in typical electrical installation and repair work. Initial contacts with the German Armed Forces and industry heralded a new era: the production of cables and cable harnesses.

At the end of the 1970s, the current location at Ravensberg in Gettorf near Kiel was founded. At the same time, the second generation, electrical engineer Christian Witte, took over the reins of the company. The political ‘turnaround’ and globalisation soon proved to be an opportunity for growth and new markets. To date, our production capacities have quadrupled.
